Our mission is to help the pregnant woman in crisis who has chosen life for her unborn child by striving to provide her support, spiritual guidance, a safe, nurturing environment, and life skills to achieve independence.
St. Gianna Crisis Pregnancy Home operates under the umbrella of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Owensboro, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive no federal or state funding. We are supported by grants, churches, businesses and you!
There are many opportunities to volunteer at St. Gianna CPH. We need volunteers who work in our home with our mothers and their babies. We also need volunteers who work outside our home to help take care of the yard, house maintenance, and much more.
Defending Life with Love
We provide more than shelter and food. We provide the ability to rise above difficult circumstances and life challenges to achieve job-readiness and self-sustainability.

What Sets Us Apart
Rooted in Catholic Tradition
We are a faith-based program established with the blessing of Bishop William Medley to serve pregnant women in crisis.
Dedicated for Expectant Mothers
We offer transitional housing exclusively for women experiencing pregnancy with no means of support.
Inclusive & Welcoming
We welcome expectant mothers regardless of their religious beliefs,
socio-economic status, ethnicity, familial status, or geographical location.
After Birth Care
Mothers keeping their baby may stay for up to 8-months after delivery. Mothers who offer their child for adoption may stay 6 weeks post-delivery.
Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.
We're currently looking for one full-time Housemother or two part-time Housemothers (one morning & one evening) who
will reside in the house overnight. The Housemother will participate in community functions, including celebrations, weekly house meetings, and weekly trainings or formations. She will provide overnight house coverage by answering the phone, opening or locking up the property, responding to moms' needs, and responding to the duty of the moment.
